CopperNet, established in 1998 has built itself upon high standards while delivering quality services and dependable equipment to our clients. We operate an advanced network with built in redundancy providing a reliable system our clients can depend on for everyday fun or for mission critical tasks. Our redundant network systems together with our redundant/load balanced connections to the Internet Backbone make us the ideal choice for both residential and business/commercial use. We are dedicated to providing quality services and competitive prices. 1998 1999 2000

March 4th: CopperNet opened its first POP in Dudleyville, AZ - servicing Hayden, Kearny and surrounding areas with dial-up service.

The first day in business, CopperNet signed up 12 customers.

August 25th: Opened POP in Globe, AZ - servicing Globe, Miami and surrounding areas with 56K dial-up service.

August 26th: Completed installation of a T1 to UUNET Technologies for additional bandwidth to the Internet Backbone.

December 17th: Completed installation of WebMail.

2001 2002 2003

July 1st: Started High-Speed Wireless Internet Service in Kearny, AZ.

October 15th: Completed High-Speed WAN in Central Arizona.

January 5th: Started High-Speed Wireless Internet Service in Claypool, AZ (including Central Heights).

May 9th: Upgraded Wireless POP in Kearny, AZ to add capacity.

June 10th: Installed two additional T1's to UUNet Technologies

July 20th: Started High-Speed Wireless Internet Service in Hayden, Winkelman & Dudleyville, AZ.

April 26th: Upgraded all CNS backbone radios. This provides additional capacity up to 12Mbps & nearly 99.999% reliability.

May 2nd: Installed Motorola Canopy Access Points to provide wireless access coverage in Kearny, Hayden, Winkelman, Dudleyville, Globe, Miami & the areas surrounding these cities/towns.

June 5th: After extensive testing, we began installing and using Motorola Canopy for residential and small business installations.

July 19th: Installed SPAM Blocker - Junk Email filtering software.

July 21th: Installed NxT1 connections to the UUNet Internet Backbone for an additional 3Mbps capacity.

September 26th: Completed Our Nationwide dialup installation. Dialup Internet access in now available in most cities and towns throught the U.S. and Canada.

2004

May 10th: Started High-Speed Wireless Internet Service in San Manuel, AZ.

October 20th: Set a world record of 72.9 Miles using Motorola Canopy/Cyclone Radios (~24Mbps Aggregate).

November 5th: Relocated to Sterling Networks Data Center in Downtown Phoenix, AZ.

December 3rd: Added a 10Mbps ethernet connection to the Internet.
